Discover our AEO Certification implementation process

1. Management System Diagnosis

The starting point for efficient certification, in this phase, the company's organizational structure is analyzed, understanding how it works and what will be needed for the development and completion of the AEO certification.

2. Risk Identification

Every operation has risks, but today one of the main evaluation factors of the AEO is the company's total risk management, including cargo and operations. Risk management is considered the greatest integrity criterion for companies evaluated by the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil.

3. Action Plan Development

OPorto Forte Group's consultants prepare a study through the data collected and requested documentation. At this point, we can estimate deadlines, difficulties, challenges, obstacles, and how to solve these issues.

4. Implementation

In this phase, we hold meetings with the contracting company's spokesperson to align processes and procedures. Direct organizational, operational, administrative, and financial action. The company's management is adjusted to the AEO for compliance with all the mandatory and recommended requirements of the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil.

5. Training

The AEO Program requires a cultural change within the company. The requirements in areas involving the supply chain demand detailed risk management, and the commitment of each employee, responsible for their respective sectors. OPorto Forte Group ensures that proper training is provided for each area and sector involved in the company. This training is accessed through OPorto Forte Group's Digital Academy.

6. AEO Statute Documentation

All certification processes must be documented and evidenced. For this reason, we issue a preliminary report to the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (QAA), allowing the company to identify points of non-compliance and/or safety concerns in its logistical processes, whether they involve import-export, transportation, storage, or cargo management.

7. Submission of Documentation for Review

The final stage of the process, transforming the report into a submission for SISCOMEX, the Federal Revenue Service's platform for requesting AEO certification. The submission must follow the textual and file format standards of the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil and SISCOMEX.

8. Audit

OPorto Forte Group will be present on the scheduled day, time, and location for the audit by the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil, ensuring that everything required is in place and, if necessary, making adjustments. OPorto Forte Group also provides post-audit support to implement the recommendations and guidance from the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil.

9. AEO Certification

The conclusion of the process is the certification issued by the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil. Once it is published in the official journal, the company can announce the certification and enjoy all its benefits.
